Portable Air Conditioner Problems!?
Hey everyone!
I have a portable air conditioner but I have a problem...
since it is portable, its mobile and on wheels, so its NOT a window mount. The only thing mounted on the window is the exhaust that is funneled out of the AC and out the window.
The problem I am having is the room has a tendency to have 'warm spots' I'll step to one side of the room, it feels alright but as I BACK up from the air conditioner, I find that the room is actually WARM. I looked around the window mount and saw that its sealed rather well so I don't think the leak is coming from that...
So where could this heat be coming from?
I have a Danby portable air conditioner, specs can be found here:

Any help would be great!
Presuming your exhaust seals are as good as you say, the AC unit may be too small for the area you are trying to cool or there is poor air circulation in the room (add a table fan to help move air around) or you could be drawing warm air into the room (look for drafts with smoke - cigarette is good for this).
