How do I change the exposure length on my Olympus Evolt 500?
I don't have the manual and I was wondering how I can change the length of the exposure, as in if I wanted to change it to 30 seconds or something. Can I do it with this camera, if so, how?
That helps a little, but where the heck to I actually change the exposure length?! Ahh
@Trudy. What was the point in your answering the question if you are going to do nothing but insult people who have a modicum of knowledge?
@Question: You'll need to put your camera into manual mode, which will be one of the "25 exposure modes!" that are advertised by Olympus. You should have a little wheel on the camera somewhere that'll change your scene modes, choose the "M" or green camera. That will allow you to manually set the exposure. If you want the camera to set everything but the exposure length, choose "S," which is the shutter priority mode. That means you control the shutter speed, the camera controls your aperture and ISO.
