How Can I Get My Fujifilm Finepix S1500 To Focus Better In Macro Modes?
I Have To Use Macro A Lot And I Can't Seem To Get It To Focus Properly Is Their Any Way to Make It Focus Better? I Have Read The Owners Manual Time And Time Again And I Still Can't Seem To Make It Work. What Mode Is Macro Best Used In (Manual, Auto Etc..) Please Help It Is Really Important. I Need To Know ASAP. Use the manual mode for proper exposure if you like but it wont help your focus issues. The S1500 lacks a manual focus option which is what would be best for your macro shots.
If youre not you should use a tripod and a remote shutter release (if available) or the self timer for macro shots. Any slight movement of the camera will cause blur. It will be more noticeable shooting macro.
The focus frame on the S1500 is fixed in the center of the image. If something gets into the focus frame which isn’t what you want to focus on the camera wont be able to focus where you want. Youll have to use exposure lock to focus where you want then move the camera to recompose the image. This may be difficult in macro because of the shallow depth of field.
Theres no easy way to get what you want with the S1500. If you use macro a lot you should have gotten a camera with manual focusing options.
