Should I go Air Force Reserves or Active Duty?
I have recently graduated from high school and I am all signed up for my college courses. I will be attending college to become a dental hygienist. I am having to take out many student loans and I am worried about being in debt for the rest of my life. This has brought me to the decision of joining the Air Force.
I do not know which choice would be better for me. I would like to go active and go to CCAF but the reserves seems more flexible. I am mostly concerned about my education and getting sent off to fight.... Please help me =]
Your answer is simple. Go Active Duty and let the Air Force pay for your college tuition. Im sure in the Air Force you will have plenty of time to attend college. Im not sure what job you are looking into, but i highly doubt you would be sent off to fight. If your job has anything to do with Ammunition, maintenance, or flying drones, your chances are great for deploying. Other than that, i doubt you will see combat. Also look at it on the bright side, you will have a full time job that pays decent money and a place to live rent free. Plus you will get to see the World while working, it gets no better than that. Good luck on whatever you decide.
