Ceiling Fan Remote for Hampton Bay Fan?
Hey folks - from what I can tell, Hampton Bay only offers one remote (and it's fixed to the wall). This is lame. Will a universal work or should I go with this weak manufacturer-specific version? Can I buy a cooler Hunter remote and expect it to work with the Hampton Bay? I mean, how different can these remotes be???
Here's the link to the remote I purchased before realizing it's wall mount. This is the only remote on hamptonbay.com. It's the only one I saw at Home Depot.

All of my Hampton Bay ceiling fans have remotes that are wireless and not mounted to the walls. The last one I bought was from Home Depot.
