What do you think of John McCain III's desire to eliminate the AMT?
Although he defines this as a middle class tax cut, according to factcheck.org, "90% of the bennefits will go to those making over $200,000". Does this reaffirm to you my own opinion which is that McCain - far from being an 'honest Maverick' is simply your typical lying politician?

Look, you may want to cut wealthy people's taxes, but if 90% of the bennefits go to those 200k or over, that is not a middle class tax cut. In other words, McCain was lying about. Those making 200k or more is in the top 1%, so he should have said 'I want a tax cut mainly for those in the top 1%.
Gabawaya: a tax 'costs' if it is not followed with a spending cut, which McCain has not made specific.
