Why isn't my Infocus LP650 as bright as it should be?
I recently purchased a used Infocus LP650 projector from eBay. The projector is supposed to be 2500 ansi lumens, but I can barely see the picture in any room with light. I used to have a projector that was 1300 ansi lumens, and it was as bright. Is there some sort of setting that I must turn on? Could this have anything to do with the bulb (it only has 450 hours on it, it shouldn't be dying). Aside, from this, the projector works great.
The older the 'bulb' gets the worse the picture will become.
Install a new 'bulb' & see if that does it, I am about 90% sure this is the problem.
*In the menu, should tell you bulb hours, however most projectors are easily 'reset' to zero. so the number you see (example:925hrs) may not be the correct figure.
