What camera lense size?
I am about to buy an external Night vision Dome Security camera, but what size is the best, is the lowest the best or the highest, I have the option of these sizes, 3.6mm, 6mm, 8mm, 12mm, 16mm. Thanks in advance
These are focal lengths, with 3.6mm being the widest and 16mm being the narrowest, in terms of field of view.
For watching a wider area, choose a wider mm focal length. In a more narrow space, you won't need to be as wide. Probably 6mm or 8mm is good for general use, but check the specs on the lenses for "angle of view" before you buy.
