Can I use my Linksys Wireless WRT54GS as an "Ethernet Cable Extender?"?
(1) I have this Linksys wireless box.
(2) I have a 50 foot Patch 5e Cable, but it's a tad too short. 
(3) I have another Patch 5e Cable, and I want to use it to extend my line.
(4) No i don't want to go out and get anything else. I want to try and use what i got, TO WORK TONIGHT.
So Can I power this box up / Plug a PATCH 5e Cable into my WORKING wireless router's LAN port / extend THAT cable and plug it into the back of my OTHER back-up wireless box's (Internet Port) / and use ANOTHER cable to plug into one of the 1-4 LAN Ports to extend into my xbox 360.

Yeah. The 4 ports that are together are just a simple switch. Don't use the WAN port. Things will get a little more complicated for you.
One thing you will have to do, though, is turn off DHCP server on the WRT54GS.
Much better solution than splicing.
Edit: In response to below, you don't need to do a thing to your router other than disable DHCP. Ports 1-4 regenerate any signal destined for connected IP address as assigned by the original router.
