Bronica SQ-A compatible with Cactus?
Ok, now to most this might sound stupid or whatever, but im just starting to learn and get into film photography.
Ok, so im looking at getting a Bronica SQ-A, and i was just wondering how to fire "slaves" (i.e. Wireless Flash Triggers) with this camera?
At the moment I have a Canon 1000d, and I use a Cactus V4 to trigger my Canon 430EXII as a slave.
Im assuming that this same technique wont work on the Bronica, and I just wanted to know what triggers/flashes will work with it?

Radio triggers like this one are pretty gosh darned basic. Connect the center pole to the outer ground on the hotshoe and the capacitor discharges. The radio trigger just adds a radio signal into it, but it's still just a simple fire command.
That being said, I've heard that the Cactus triggers aren't all that reliable and using it on film would start to add up pretty quick. Cybersyncs are pretty popular. I use Skyports with my Yashicamat and also my 4x5 camera. Pocket Wizards were the gold standard of the industry for quite a while, but those are spendy.
Optical triggers sound great except that Canon flashes get all buggered up and don't cooperate with them. Another waste of film when they don't work.
