What is the difference between Final cut Studio, Final cut Pro, and Final cut Express?
I have seen final cut express and final cut studio at the apple store. But no Final cut pro. I know that final cut pro is included in Final cut studio. Is final cut pro an individual editing system or is it a part of final cut studio? Is the only way to get final cut pro is to buy the $1300 Final cut studio? Thanks
Yes, your are correct. The only way to get Final Cut Pro is to buy Final Cut Studio for $1300. The only alternative is to get Final Cut Express which is sold alone for about $200.
The difference between express and pro is that pro uses professional tools and other applications that work with FCP. FCP has more effects too. You get way more than what you pay for with Final Cut Studio 2. It is definitely worth getting for $1300.
