Where can I find a power supply thats compatible with my computer?
My computer is an HP Slimline s3600f. I've already tried HP website and it won't let me just buy a power supply. Can someone tell me a website or something that tells you what power supplies are compatible with your computer? Keep in mind that my pc is one of those small slimlines.
Buying a specialized power supply that was probably manufactured to HP specifications is a tall order because the only distributor for those is probably HP.
Have you tried calling HP Tech Support yet? That's where I'd go first. If your HP doesn't fall under warranty, they'll probably send you to the Sales Department where I'm positive they will be glad to sell you one.
Of course this does involve 1) talking to strangers over the phone 2) buying something over the phone... the two things most people do not like but this is your best bet.
