How come wireless things don't interfere with each other?
I understand the concept of wireless technology - a digital or analogue signal sent in either radio waves, infrared, or microwave signals. Do all wireless devices use set frequencies? And do they all have a set amount of frequencies allowed within that frequency - for example wi-fi can only use this frequency - garage door openers can only use this frequency etc?
The answer is "resonance" and "selectivity"
The International Telecommunications Union (ITU) is responsible for the allotment of each administration's frequency AM/FM usage with due regard to geographical proximities.
The Radio frequency spectrum is further allotted in respect of
usages in Ultra High, Infra Red and special research facilities Matters of localised adjacent parasitic cross interference are subject to individual admimnistrations.
